These platforms include the FESIN Portal, FESIN Share (professional development platform), Finnish Education System Information System (FESIS), and any additional platforms FESIN may add.

2. Additional Terms and Conditions for Restricted Access on FESIN Websites

2.1 General

Users agree to access FESIN’s restricted websites only through the official interfacesprovided by FESIN. Automated means (such as scripts, bots, or crawlers) are strictlyprohibited.

 

2.2 Additional Terms for FESIN Portal and FESIN Share

The FESIN Portal is designed as a gateway to applications, resources, communities, andcontent necessary for daily operations.

FESIN Share is a platform that connects FESIN educators with practical teaching resources, professional development opportunities, micro-certifications, learning modules, peercommunities, and premium content.

Access to FESIN Share is restricted to users with an approved teacher profile. Unapprovedusers must update their profiles and receive approval from their FESIN Coordinator.

FESIN provides services and content access only to regions with an official “countryrepresentation.”

Usage Conditions:

Users agree to provide accurate and current information and keep it updated.
Users may use FESIN Share content solely for professional and non-commercialeducational purposes.

Unauthorized Uses:

Offering commercial courses or consultancy services using FESIN materials,
Using FESIN Share materials for any commercial activities is strictly prohibited.

 

2.3 Additional Terms for FESIS (Finnish Education System Information System)

FESIS is a system that handles FESIN’s administrative functions related to examinationsessions and candidate registration processes.

Security Obligations:

Users are responsible for maintaining computer and account security.
Users are informed that all activities within FESIS are monitored and logged.

Prohibited Activities:

Attempting to bypass security protocols,
Uploading malicious software,
Attempting unauthorized access,
Using another person’s login credentials is strictly prohibited.

FESIN reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts of users who violatethese terms.

 

2.3.2 Personal Security Obligations

Users are responsible for the security of devices used to access FESIS:

Do not share login credentials in environments where others can see them.
Do not store login credentials on devices.
Always log out after finishing sessions.
Share student login credentials only with the relevant student in a secure manner.

 

2.3.3 Use of FESIS

All activities in FESIS are monitored and logged. If misuse is suspected, access is immediately suspended and an investigation is initiated.

Users may not:

Attempt to bypass security measures,
Profile or track other users,
Upload viruses or any files threatening system security,
Use the system for purposes other than its intended function,
Use another person’s credentials or impersonate another user.

 

2.3.4 Revocation of Access to FESIS

If any of these terms are violated, FESIN reserves the right to immediately close useraccounts and permanently terminate access to FESIS.
